So, with enthusiasm and determination, Rrustem returned to Kosovo with the Gecaj family and purchased the NBI Rahoveci winery renaming it Stone Castle Vineyards and Winery. Before the war, Kosovo had over 9000 hectares of vineyards with over a 2000 year history of winemaking.

The nigiri specials are always on point, and I suggest you try them, but if you prefer a specialty roll, the firecracker and the sunshine rolls are excellent options. Equally delicious is the fish. The king’s son Count Emanuele Alberto of Mirafiori turned the estate into a full commercial winery with over 741 acres of wine vineyards.

Volver Tempranillo Single Vineyard 2018 Bodegas Volver was founded in 2004 by fourth generation viticulturist Rafael Cañizares. This 100% Tempranillo wine is sourced from a high-altitude (2000+ ft.) single vineyard called Finca Los Juncares, located in the eastern part of DO La Mancha, Spain.

Melrose Vineyards is located on the bench of the South Umpqua River where once stood an early French Settlement. Melrose Vineyards’ owners (Wayne and the late Deedy Parker) arrived in 1996 to make Umpqua Valley Wine. The original vineyard of 82 acres was planted in the summer of 1996. Clouet’s Brut Grand Reserve is 100 percent pinot noir sourced from vineyards surrounding the famed Champagne villages of Bouzy and Ambonnay. Pol Roger, like Roederer, straddles the line between grower and house, with more than half of the wines it makes coming from the firm’s own 93 hectares of vineyards.
